A carjacker in Baghdad ordered 10 mourners to get out of a hearse before speeding off in the vehicle.

The funeral party was left stranded for several hours until passing US soldiers drove them to a cemetery, reports Al-Ittihad newspaper.

The armed man who stole the minibus, which was serving as a hearse and contained a corpse, drove off towards the city of Najaf.
