An 18-year-old British man taking his driving test has been thrown out of his car halfway through the test by carjackers.
The man and his instructor were dragged from the Ford Fiesta by two men wearing helmets.
It's believed the pair had just robbed a Post Office in Clacton, Essex.
Police say they had earlier tried to get away on a motorbike.
The carjackers abandoned the car, which carried L-plates and a driving school sign on the roof, a few minutes later.
Mark Shadbolt, of the Tendring School of Motoring said: "My pupil was just about to reverse around a corner when he was ordered to get out by the men. Then the examiner was pulled out. They were left by the roadside very shaken."
A police spokesman said: "The test is hard enough without this."
One man's been arrested in connection with the robbery, says The Daily Mirror.
